Wasze ulubione cytaty z gier, filmów, książek itp. itd.

Post autor: King VERMIN! »

Zasady?

"Fighting for the future, and keeping the past alive, are one of the same things"

"American computers, Russian computers, they're all made in Taipei!"
z filmu "Armageddon"

Moim skromnym zdaniem wielu polityków (tak,będzie temat polityki, niezainteresowanych prosimy o zaprzestanie czytania) zdecydowanie zbyt mocno bierze sobie tę zasadę do serca- obchodzi ich TYLKO przeszłość- agenci, teczki, pomniki Dmowskiego itp., a nie to co jest naprawdę ważne czyli PRZYSZŁOŚĆ- i głęboko gdzieś mają gospodarkę.
Słuchaj więc nas chociażby szła cenzorów horda
Razem zbudujemy punkowego megazorda
Rebel forevor, transformatą napieprzamy

Z ostatnio katowanej przeze mnie gry - Project Rub:

"Do not attempt to recreate any of the situations seen in this game."

"True love doesn't mean dying for the one you love... It means living life to the fullest for them!"

edit (na życzenie king VERMINa):
AD1: tekie teksty zawsze mnie rozbawiają, szczególnie jeśli pojawiają się w grze.
AD2: po prostu:P

"L, did you know that reapers only eat apples?"
"Justice will prevail"

"As your leader, I encourage you from time to time, and always in a respectful manner, to question my logic. If you're unconvinced that a particular plan of action I've decided is the wisest, tell me so, but allow me to convince you and I promise you right here and now, no subject will ever be taboo. Except, of course, the subject that was just under discussion. The price you pay for bringing up either my Chinese or American heritage as a negative is... I collect your fucking head. Just like this fucker here. Now, if any of you sons of bitches got anything else to say, NOW'S THE FUCKING TIME!"

EOT.

Jeszcze jakbyście Ivy i Sogetsu mogli napisać czemu je lubicie ^^''

No i z KBv1 lubię jeszcze ten:
'When fortune smiles on something as violent and ugly as revenge, it seems proof like no other that, not only does God exist, you're doing his will'

Tyle.

Trainspotting:

Begbie:
"No way would I poison my body with that shite, all they fucking chemicals, no fucking way."

Renton:
"People think it's all about misery and desperation and death and all that shite, which is not to be ignored, but what they forget - is the pleasure of it. Otherwise we wouldn't do it. After all, we're not fucking stupid. At least, we're not that fucking stupid."
-> tłumacząc dlaczego ćpa :lol:

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family, Choose a fucking big television, Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing sprit-crushing ga me shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing you last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life."

"Batou, remember. Whenever you are on the net, I'm always by your side..."

"So, where the newborn will go? The net is vast and infinite..."
Ostatnie zdanie Major w GitS.

"Release your past and tower above all."
Tekst Tremy z FF X-2.

"cos' i can see
deep inside
within me
nothin'"
Znaleziony w otchłani netu tekst idealnie pasujący do mnie

"Beyond all galaxies
through timeless eaons of frost
Unearthly hunger - angels descent

We are entering dimensions behind space ...

Beyond all galaxies
through timeless eaons of frost"
In Flames - Behind Space. Esencja tekstów mistyczno - astronomicznych.

"We, the plague of Terra Firma,
nature's grand and last mistake"
In Flames - Graveland. Czysta prawda - nie jesteśmy niczym innym niż plagą...

"I often dream of huge numb buildings
jet-black sinister architecture
being installed when nobody sees
Their appearance so sudden
that few would take notice

And when I wake up
I imagine being crushed by one
imaginating it's weight it's silence
and the absence of excuses for a havoced life
and the priviledge of a 22-kilometers tombstone

Jotun

A body of black
that carried no reflection
defying it's own room
un-earthly egg of decreation

There would be colonies
mushroom-scattered forever out of content
rising spores from a dying world
to pollute and chase away what's left

Sun-white pulverised desert stone
and serpentine lizard mouths
Pales away the pyramids
rewriting 4500 years of history
raping the statue of liberty
outplays the acropolis
inverting the fjords
invades the... skyline to
dream its own existence in one single final word

Jotun

Can we identify them
as the flint buried in our reptile skulls
or the time-bomb coded in our dna"
/przesadziłem chyba  / In Flames - Jotun.

That seize and hold the wind...

Mała porcja V.

V: What was done to me was monstrous.
Evey Hammond: And they created a monster.
---------------------------------------------------------------
V: ...The building is a symbol, as is the act of destroying it. Symbols are given power by people. Alone, a symbol is meaningless, but with enough people, blowing up a building can change the world.
--------------------------------------------------------------

V: [Evey pulls out her mace] I can assure you I mean you no harm.
Evey Hammond: Who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey Hammond: Well I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.
Evey Hammond: Oh. Right.
V: But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace sobriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona.
V: Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
[carves V into poster on wall]
V: The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
[giggles]
V: Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.
Evey Hammond: Are you like a crazy person?
V: I am quite sure they will say so.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

V: Good evening, London. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of every day routine- the security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition. I enjoy them as much as any bloke. But in the spirit of commemoration, thereby those important events of the past usually associated with someone's death or the end of some awful bloody struggle, a celebration of a nice holiday, I thought we could mark this November the 5th, a day that is sadly no longer remembered, by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are of course those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and men with guns will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now high chancellor, Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence. Last night I destroyed the Old Bailey, to remind this country of what it has forgotten. More than four hundred years ago a great citizen wished to embed the fifth of November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot.
------------------------------------------------------------------
No i oczywiście:

Evey Hammond: [Voiceover, introduction] Remember, remember, the Fifth of November,/ The Gunpowder Treason and Plot... / I know of no reason/ Why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot... But what of the man? I know his name was Guy Fawkes and I know, in 1605, he attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament. But who was he really? What was he like? We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten, but 400 years later, an idea can still change the world. I've witnessed first hand the power of ideas, I've seen people kill in the name of them, and die defending them... but you cannot kiss an idea, cannot touch it, or hold it... ideas do not bleed, they do not feel pain, they do not love... And it is not an idea that I miss, it is a man... A man that made me remember the Fifth of November. A man that I will never forget.

Kuźwa, jak ja mogłem zapomnieć o V? Tam genialne cytaty trafiały się do pięć minut. Ale najlepszym był imo:

Beneeth this mask there is more then flash...
Beneeth this mask there is an idea...
And idea's are bulletproof!
